Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Mesmerising Beauty, we understand plans can change. Here's our fair policy to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Cancellations

24+ Hours Before Your Appointment

  • Prepaid bookings: Full refund
  • Pay-at-venue bookings: Full deposit refund

Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Appointment

  • Prepaid bookings: Deposit fee retained (25% of booking, max £10), remainder refunded
  • Pay-at-venue bookings: Deposit is non-refundable

No-Show (Missed Appointment Without Notice)

  • Prepaid bookings: Full payment retained
  • Pay-at-venue bookings: Deposit forfeited

Important: Not showing up is treated more seriously than a late cancellation. Please let us know if you can't make it, even if it's last minute.

Rescheduling

24+ Hours Before Your Appointment

  • FREE to reschedule to any available time
  • Your payment or deposit transfers to the new booking
  • No limit on how many times you can reschedule (with 24+ hours notice)

Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Appointment

  • Prepaid bookings: Deposit fee (25%, max £10) applies, booking moves to new time
  • Pay-at-venue bookings: Original deposit forfeited, new deposit required

Note: The 24-hour rule is based on your original appointment time. You can reschedule to any available time, including same-day appointments.

Deposit Amount

Your deposit is 25% of your booking total, capped at a maximum of £10.

Your deposit counts towards your total – you'll pay the remaining balance at the salon.

Why This Policy?

When appointments are cancelled or changed at short notice, we often cannot fill that time slot. This policy helps us:

  • Keep prices fair for all customers
  • Ensure our beauticians are compensated for reserved time
  • Maintain availability for customers who plan ahead

Need to Cancel or Reschedule?

How you cancel depends on how you booked:

Booked Online with an Account

  1. Log in to your account on our website
  2. Go to "My Bookings" in your dashboard
  3. Click "Cancel" or "Change Appointment"

Booked Online as a Guest

Use the cancellation link in your booking confirmation email. If you can't find the email, check your spam folder or contact us.

Booked by Phone or Walk-In

Call us at 0191 285 5055 to cancel or reschedule.

Tip: Cancel via the website or confirmation email to ensure your deposit refund is processed automatically.

Salon-Initiated Cancellations

In rare circumstances (illness, emergency, equipment issues), we may need to cancel your appointment. If this happens:

  • Full refund will be issued regardless of timing
  • We'll notify you as soon as possible
  • We'll offer to reschedule at a time convenient for you
